The gorgeous ads, that were shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in 2007, feature supermodels Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Stephanie Seymour, Claudia Schiffer, Angela Lindvall and Natalia Vodianova in colourful Louis Vuitton creations on exciting cars, exemplifying the glossy and glamorous Vuitton woman.

The campaign, conceived in collaboration with Richard Prince, has a night-time feel and combines, according to Marc Jacobs, the concept “ hot chicks and cars”!

The enviromentally friendly ZAP Alias will cost £15,000 and does 0 to 60mph in just 5.7 seconds with a top speed of 156mph.

The futuristic-looking two-seater is being developed with the help of British car company Lotus.

The 152-centimeters (5-foot) tall two-legged robot is capable of playing violin. It makes use of its mechanical fingers to push the strings and plays the bow with its other arm.

It touts 17 movable joints that endow it with the capability to conduct domestic duties and assist in nursing.

Triceratops skeleton up for Paris auction

Triceratops skeletonA triceratops skeleton is expected to fetch 500,000 euros at an upcoming Christie’s auction in Paris, where giant shark teeth and a sabre-toothed tiger skull are also up for bids.

The skeleton of the three-horned dinosaur, from a private European collection, is the highlight of the April 16 auction. It will mark the first time that such a dinosaur specimen goes up for public sale since a T-Rex called “Sue” was sold in New York in October 1997.

The four-legged triceratops, which dates back between 65 and 67 million years, measures 7.5 metres in length and bears a large bony frill and three horns.
