Currently under construction at Gentech Yachts’ Antalya, Turkey shipyard is the 46-metre Soroya, due to be completed in time for the 2010 Monaco Yacht Show.

Hydraulics are a key component of the luxury craft, which features both a pop-up helipad and a swimming pad that unfolds to double in size.

Spacious, silent and stable are the watchwords of the sleek ship, with a sturdy steel hull and zero-speed stabilizers paired with soundproofing to keep everything exceedingly tranquil onboard.

A special night mode relies on battery-powered systems to ensure maximum quietude.

There are accommodations for 12 passengers in six staterooms along with nine crew members, channeled through special passages designed to keep the help from intruding into the guest areas any more than necessary while allowing them to do their duty.

Jure Bukavec of UNIELLé yacht design did exterior styling and space design, while MECCANO did naval architecture and engineering.

The Soroya has a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots with a range of 5,040 nautical miles at cruising speed.

She also comes equipped with underwater LED lighting making her a spectacular sight as she glides past in the night.
