
Whisky supplier The Famous Grouse has created a limited-edition blend to commemorate 30 years as Scotland’s favourite whisky.
Master blender Gordon Motion created the Famous Grouse Celebration Blend Decanter, which comes in a limited-edition Wade decanter.
The product will also be showcased at the Tax Free World Association exhibition in Cannes next month.


Drawing on its 19th Century heritage, the Marnier-Lapostolle family have created Quintessence, a reinterpretation of the original Grand Marnier liqueur.
Set to be introduced at the 2011 TFWA World Exhibition next month, Quintessence blends rare Cognacs with a subtle orange essence.
It is described as having a more subtle bouquet, fusing long-held standards with a contemporary vision.

Absolut Vodka has teamed up with Korean Air in a deal that will see the unit launch Absolut bars on ten of the airline’s new Airbus A380s.
The onboard ‘Celestial Bars’ – two in Business Class and one in First Class – will also feature duty free Absolut products to purchase.
The first Korean Air Airbus A380 took off on 17 June. The next four will be delivered by the end of 2011 and an additional five by 2014.


A new cognac created to be sipped specifically on the rocks was launched this week and is described as a flavor journey that will take the drinker through aromas of white peach, lemon sorbet and iced mint as the temperature of the elixir drops.
Ice Cognac by ABK6 is said to develop its distinct aromas as it progressively comes into contact with cold temperatures and water.
The limited edition cognac, produced in the hillsides of Claix, France, made its debut at Vinexpo, the world’s largest wine trade fair, in Bordeaux this week.
