Founded in 1843, the house of Krug has been providing the world with fine champagnes for six generations now and the legendary winemakers have now collaborated with equally celebrated trunk-maker Pinel & Pinel to create a limited edition Krug Escape Artist champagne trunk collection.
It consists of three different trunk designs, each of which is covered and lined in fine leather. Each also contains, in addition to two bottles of Krug, its owner’s ‘preferred means of escape’ – through gambling, cigar-smoking or music.
The first trunk design features a red calfskin exterior with shiny nickel-plated brass hinges and corners with brown calfskin lining. A drawer contains two packs of poker cards made by ‘Bee’, five casino dice and 200 professional 11g chips, while the doors house two bottles of Krug Grande Cuvée.
The Krug Escape Artist Trunk also contains four Baccarat crystal glasses, a Krug stopper and a Krug champagne cooler, created exclusively for the collection by leading designer François Bauchet. Lastly, a secret drawer holds four Pinel & Pinel nickel-plated brass coasters with leather base.
Moët Hennessy Asia Pacific has made one trunk each of this design available at the DFS Wine Shop in Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 3 and Sky Connection in Hong Kong International Airport where it is retailing at HK$188,000 ($24,000 usd).
The second trunk design features a blue lambskin exterior and off-white calfskin lining. It pairs a cigar holder, XCAR cigar cutter and DuPont cigar lighter with two bottles of Krug 1995. The third Krug Escape Artist Trunk has a silver lambskin exterior and pink calfskin lining. Contained within are a state-of-the-art Samsung T9 MP3 video player with Bluetooth technology and a JBL ‘On Tour Plus’ sound system, alongside two bottles of Krug Rosé.

Each Vertical Limit is fully handmade and each of the 12 vintages are housed in its own compartment with the temperature set at a constant 12 degrees celsius—ideal for tasting and the same climate as the Veuve Clicquot cellars in Reims, France.

G.Lorenzi, the only still family-owned shop on Milan’s famous Via Montenapoleone, is perhaps the most civilised retail space in Europe.
This Lorenzi special edition set, contained in a “Chancellor of the Exchequer budget” red calf leather case, comprises a chrome plate cast steel tong with hand-turned Makassar ebony handles polished with bees wax and a chrome plate brass stopper turned from a solid bar with a Makassar ebony top.
A ball-bearing connection between the stopper rings makes for a satisfyingly smooth action. Reputed to keep champagne unimpeachably fizzy.

Baptiste Mathieu has designed this concept called Veuve Clicquot Night Clubber at the occasion of the talent show “Les espoirs de la creation 2008″
It consists of a luminous glass and a bottle that allows every consumer to experience the festive opening of its bottle. The champagne bottle features double cap for blocking the stopper.
The leather trim imparts the luxury feel and polished aluminium treatment is also given to accentuate the design.

The much venerated champagne house Armand de Brignac has two new champagnes to add to its flagship cuvée, the Brut Gold.
Currently maturing in the cellars, the first is a pink champagne, the Armand de Brignac Rosé, which comes in a pink-gold bottle with matching adornments.
The second is the Armand de Brignac Blanc de Blancs, which is pressed from a selection of white Chardonnay, contained in an antique silver bottle with matching silver labels.

Photographer David LaChapelle’s distinctive va-va-voom style graces a new bottle of Remy Martin VSOP Cognac. The bottle LaChapelle created takes its inspiration from the Paris cabaret scene during the Jazz Age when Remy Martin first appeared in 1927.
The design features a curvaceous woman dancing in a brightly-colored jungle. The bottle will sell for $50 and will be available at wine and spirits stores around the U.S starting in June. There will be 150,000 bottles produced
