The new advertising campaign for Martini Gold by Dolce & Gabbana was unveiled Tuesday in Milan. The spot features Italian actress Monica Bellucci.
The spot was directed by Jonas Akerlund, who had been also directing some really popular music videos for Madonna and Lady Gaga recently.
In the advertisement — a tribute to Oscar-winning Italian director Federico Fellini’s “La Dolce Vita” — the designers sit at a table, singing and laughing with Bellucci.

Researchers in India say they have developed a wine made from mangoes that they hope might one day compete with the traditional grape-based variety.
Scientists at the Central Institute of Subtropical Horticultural Research in Lucknow have produced wines using three types of mango native to the local state of Uttar Pradesh — the Dussehri, Langra, and Chausa.
India is the world’s largest mango producer and is home to nearly 1,000 varieties of the succulent and juicy fruit — something the researchers hope could be harnessed into a new drinks industry.

Absolut Vodka presents the “Absolut Sophie” mirror – a limited edition collectible designed by Singapore-based illustrator Sokkuan.
Sokkuan was the winner of “In an Absolut World, Every Drink is an Exceptional Experience” installation during Singapore Design Festival 2009.
The dark beauty is executed as a multifaceted mirror boxed in a matching package.
Sokkuan was inspired by the Bloody Mary legend of chanting into a mirror to summon her dark spirit; creating an alter ego Sophie Black.

French researchers have figured out how to keep your champagne robust with bubbles according to a new study published in the August 11 print edition of the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.
Gerard Liger-Belair, a professor and author of Uncorked: the Science of Champagne, led the study with a team of scientists and found “a beer-like way of serving” champagne at lower temperatures preserved the bubbles or CO2 best.
Pouring the champagne slowly into an angled glass “impacted its concentration of dissolved CO2 significantly less.

The duo are on a promotion roll lately, with their CNN Revealed portrait having been released just two weeks ago.

A two-century-old bottle of champagne found in a shipwreck at the bottom of the Baltic tastes great but is not from the house of Veuve-Clicquot.
Last month Swedish divers working off Finland found 30 bottles perfectly preserved at a depth of 55 metres (180 feet), perhaps part of a consignment sent by France’s King Louis XVI to the Russian Imperial Court.
Because the corks still retained a trace of an anchor logo, experts thought the champagne might have come from the historic Veuve-Clicquot estate.
