New York-based brewery Ommegang has released its latest “Game of Thrones”-inspired beer called “Valar Morghulis,” (“all men must die”) after inviting fans to vote for the name and style of its next brew.

It’s the fourth beer in collaboration with the HBO fantasy series. Previous launches include Iron Throne, Take the Black Stout, and Fire and Blood.

Fans also voted for a deep, rich beer to embody the equally macabre name, as the Valar Morghulis is characterized by aromas like caramel, toffee, ripe fruit, burnt sugar and cloves, malt, and bitterness.

Recommended pairings include savory dishes like roasted lamb or beef and strong cheeses like Stilton, Gorgonzola, and smoked cheddar.

A bottle of the brew also packs a hefty punch at 8 percent alcohol.
