Absolute Vodka is paying tribute to Boston by creating a special edition brew just for the Hub.

The Swedish spirit maker is out with a new limited edition flavor – black tea and elderflower vodka.

The company’s marketing president said the significance of tea in Boston‘s history is well known, which is why it was included as an ingredient.

The label on the bottle has a Green Monster-like backdrop.

As part of the launch Absolut will display a “Wall of Pride” on Boylston Plaza at the Prudential Center for 10 days.

The “wall” theme is referring to Fenway Park’s infamous “Green Monster” of a left field wall.

This will be up until September 4th and displays the memories of many of Boston’s celebrities.

After next Friday the individual pieces of the wall will be given to the lucky winners of the eBay auctions, which you can learn more about at the “Get a Piece of the Wall” Facebook page.

The Boston flavor is the third city in an Absolut campaign that started in 2007 with New Orleans and hit Los Angeles last year.
