The Mikrotimer Flying 1000 Concept is the latest TAG Heuer first: the only mechanical chronograph to measure and display the 1/1,000th of a second.

Its oscillating system vibrates at 3,600,000 beats per hour, 125 times faster most existing chronographs and 300 times faster than a human blink.

As you can see in the video embedded below, when operating as a stopwatch the sweep hand is moving so fast you can barely see it in motion.

German safe maker Döttling has created a new luxury safe called “The GrandCircle“, a vault including multiple components like watch winders, a bar, a cigar humidor, a pendulum clock and a high-end sound system.

The safe is composed of high-gloss lacquered wood varieties, the finest stingray tail skin, Alcantara, and rhodium-plated metal components.

The GrandCircle has a total of 52 individually controlled watch winders enclosing it’s center of attraction: a limited, handmade Naeschke pendulum clock with power reserve mechanism that has six ruby bearings.

In September Bell & Ross will be releasing the PW1 and WW1 style as part of their vintage collection.

Their current vintage collection encompasses watches inspired by military history from the 1940s to date.

This collection draws inspiration from the first watches ever used in the military in the First World War and the 1920s, updated to create tow unique styles for men.

For this fourth edition of the world renowned charity watch auction, the world’s most prestigious watchmakers have each created a unique timepiece.

Montblanc‘s contribution to Only Watch 2011 is a unique Vintage Pulsographe from the Villeret 1858 in rose gold with white Grand Feu enamel dial.

Infiniti has unveiled the Limited Edition BR02-8 Infiniti Carbon Case Purple 8 Pro Dial wristwatch, engineered by Bell & Ross.

The watch is the second timepiece revealed by Infiniti, the first of which was the special edition BR03-92 Instrument Phantom model commemorating the arrival of the Infiniti FX Limited Edition.

The seconds hand and eighth digit sit on a matt black dial, featuring a photo-luminescent finish in the same purple used by Infiniti.
