The renowned French jeweler and watchmaker Cartier has recently unveiled a new interpretation of its legendary Roadster watch.

The new components are a straight steel-link bracelet and a black rubber strap, which add up to a timeless design of the watch.

The first variation of the Cartier Roadster S watch features a polished steel case. It is equipped with a steel stylized crown.

The case displays a satin-finished bezel, which frames an opaline dial. The latter is completed with Roman numerals.

Sweeping smoothly over them are sword-shaped steel hands, coated with a luminous compound. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal.

The new Cartier watch relies on the brands proprietary self-winding mechanical movement Caliber 049.

This mechanism serves to animate the functions of indicating hours, minutes, seconds and date, located at 3 oclock.

The watch is mounted on an interchangeable satin steel bracelet, closed with a triple folding clasp. Its water-resistance is down to 100 meters.
