French artist ZEVS was arrested in Hong Kong this morning, July 13th, 2009 at 3:49am after Liquidating the Chanel logo on the façade of Chater House in Central.
No news on whether he’s been release yet or whether he will make it to the opening of the exhibit this Tursday…
ZEVS is an anonymous French contemporary artist widely known for his LV, Chanel and other logo drippings.

French urban artist Zevs has a must-see show at art statements gallery, opening in Hong Kong Thursday, July 16th.
The artist arrived earlier to create a series of paintings of LV and Chanel dripping logos on lacquer in collaboration with local craftsmen.
Additionally, he made a series of ceramics and paintings on metal. All these works will be presented plus a variety of his other signature liquidated logos.
