As part of their winter sports collection this year Chanel have released another set of skis and a snowboard.
This years skis and snowboards have a wooden theme using plain laquered wooden top sheet with a central wooden core going back to the look of the original skis.
The snowboard and the skis are available from Chanel stores worldwide throughout the winter ski season.


A Quebec City man with a love of hockey and history claims to have a hockey stick that dates back to the mid-17th century.
However, historians suspect the one-metre long stick was simply crafted out of a very old piece of birch wood.
Bobby Rouillard, who lives in the suburb of Boischatel, will be showing off the stick at a pond hockey tournament this weekend. Then, he says, he will put it on eBay at a starting price of $1 million.

The French designer Loïc Keriselhas created this beautiful piece of architecture which is a piece of art in itself.

Bureau Triskel is made using at least three different kinds of wood to make the individual shades of brown that give this desk its pattern.
