Volkswagen Accessories has announced the GTI Crazy Bob sled and the traditional wooden folding sled for their Lifestyle range.

The GTI Crazy Bob’s design is influenced by the Volkswagen GTI and is made from high quality, cold-resistant plastic.

The ergonomic design allows for front and rear footrests within the glide runners. Its light weight makes for easy carrying and a pull rope with handle is also attached.

Volkswagen has unveiled the latest incarnation of its iconic Beetle at the Auto Shanghai show in China.

The German automaker said that the new Beetle has been envisioned with the target “design a new original” to ensure it paid tribute to 70 years of Beetle history.

The redesigned model has been made significantly more aggressive, with a lower profile than its 1998 predecessor and a more confident design which is reflected in the vehicle’s self-assured stance — although it’s still unmistakably a Beetle.

Last week, Karl Lagerfeld flew to Berlin for the filming of the 30-second commercial spot to promote special-edition models under the Style banner.

Matthias Becker, Volkswagen‘s marketing director for Germany said Lagerfeld plays himself in the commercial, photographing the cars and musing aloud.

The spot is directed by Johan Renck, the producer behind music videos for Madonna and Robbie Williams. The campaign is slated for release in Germany on Dec 22.

Following in the footsteps of German competitor Mercedes-Benz, BMW showed its own four-door coupe, the BMW Concept Gran Coupé.

The chic car made its debut at Barbie’s real-life Malibu Dream House, a 3,500 square-foot Jonathan Adler-designed residence in California, during an exclusive birthday celebration where celebrity guests, as supermodel Heidi Klum, received a grab bag with Barbie sunglasses, handbags, and “tiny shoes.”
