Following a string of surrealist influenced fashion films by Miu Miu and Cartier’s fantastical “Cartier Odyssey,” Prada is on track to receive the trippiest video campaign of S/S 2012 accolade following the release of its latest “Real Fantasies” short.

A documentary that goes behind the counter and into the life of a man who’s been called the greatest sushi chef in the world is set to open in New York Friday.
Tucked away in an underground Tokyo subway station is an unremarkable-looking 10-seat eatery called Sukiyabashi Jiro which serves Michelin-starred sushi by 85-year-old Jiro Ono, the first chef in Japan to earn three Michelin stars.

The ad stars British actress Imogen Poots and was shot in Morocco — with Bryan Ferry’s “Avalon” as the soundtrack.
It was announced in November that the Italian fashion house would be following in the footsteps of Versace by creating a line for the high street retailer.

Cartier released its Winter Tale video a few weeks ago. One version is found on YouTube and the other at www.cartier.wintertale.com.
The video shows the famous Cartier leopard running, walking and leaping through an icy terrain while products from the jeweler’s holiday collection emerge from under snow or in bubbles and are simply resting against the landscape.
In the YouTube version, consumers can click on the links that appear in the video to search for the “her,” “him” and “all” products.
