Both the sheath and the box bear metal plates engraved with “Gianni Versace Couture.” The amazing workmanship and made-to-order quality has been designed to evoke the era of lost glamour. The bottle is also supported inside the case by a liner that can be removed so that the leather box can function like a regular carrying case.

The new fragrance has notes of bergamot and tangerine with a floral kick from jasmine, heliotrope and almond blossom and a base that includes tonka bean, patchouli heart and sandalwood.

Lamborghini+Versace+Roadster The Versace and Lamborghini Roadster LP640Two Italian companies known for their inspirational design have collaborated to create the Versace and Lamborghini Roadster LP640 which is going into production for fall.

The limited edition luxury car, designed by Donatella Versace, will be produced to order and displays the signature Versace Greek Key motif on the front bumper and the lower part of the doors. The cradle seats are clad in black and white leather, while opulent full grain soft nappa leather – hand-embroidered with the Versace Greek fret motif – upholsters the instrument panel, the doors and the central console.

Versace has also designed an accompanying line of black calfskin accessories including a trolley bag, suit carrier, sports bag, as well as a briefcase, suitcase, gloves, driving shoes, belt, wallet, key ring, beauty case, hat andeven a pair of jean,s all bearing an engraved metal Lamborghini Versace tag.

This prestigious accessory collection will be exclusively available at Versace Boutiques and selected Lamborghini showrooms beginning in November 2008.

Palazzo Versace already have a resort on Australia’s Gold Coast with other’s planned for Goa, Abu Dhabi, India, China, Russia, Paris, London, New York and Rome.

Available on order only, it’s a gold timepiece with a dial covered in more than 122 white diamonds. Given that three of this overprecious Destiny watch have already been sold, seems like The Versace lady makes sense:

“Women don’t really need a watch to tell time today — they have their cell phones and BlackBerrys. This is a jewelry watch.”
