
Toyota took another step towards a new sports model March 1 with the unveiling of the FT-86 II concept at the Geneva Motor Show.
The biggest hint yet of the styling expected from a new production sports model, the FT-86 II was described as a model that paid homage to Toyota’s previous sports cars of the past such as the 2000 GT of the 1960s.
The model features a long, low hood and rear-set cabin and measures 4,235 mm long and 1,270mm high.

Lamborghini is celebrating its 10 years of presence on the Singapore market with the unveiling of a new special edition Gallardo Singapore Limited Edition.
What sets this limited edition Gallardos apart from the regular Raging Bulls are the red stripes on the sides and a Merlion logo that’s labeled on the exterior of each car.
They will be available in two colors only (black and white) and in a limited run of just ten units worldwide.

Pagani has finally revealed its much rumoured and much anticipated successor to the Zonda: the Pagani Huayra., named after the Argentinean god of wind.
the new supercar is powered by an AMG-sourced 6.0-liter biturbo V12 engine with over 700 hp (522 kW / 710 PS) and 1000 Nm (737 Nm) of torque.
The top speed is claimed to be over 370 km/h (235mph) and 0-100 km/h is expected to take just 3.2sec.

German sports car manufacturer Porsche revealed today a new limited edition variant of its 911 model, dubbed Black Edition.
Available as a coupe or convertible, it features a unique appearance with a plain black exterior, black brake calipers, and 19-inch 911 Turbo II bi-color wheels.
Inside, the cabin is nicely equipped with partial leather seats, a sport steering wheel, aluminum look trim, a painted center console, and Black Edition door entry guards.


Porsche has given the strongest hint yet that it intends to pursue hybrid technology with the unveiling of a new concept at the North American International Auto Show.
The company, which is making a high-profile return to the Detroit show after a four year hiatus, launched the 918 RSR January 10, a motorsports version of the 918 Spyder hybrid concept car first shown in Geneva last year.
It features a V8 engine which contributes 563 hp, backed by an electric motor on each front wheel which add 150 kW of power to take the 918 RSR’s total up to 767 hp.

All of the 356 Porsche Speedsters planned for production already have owners, despite the fact that the model has just being launched at the 2010 Paris Show.
Even with the high price of EUR201,682 ($263,667), all the cars have been sold ahead of the original planned dealership launch in December this year.
