Prada unveiled a special short film directed by Roman Polanski and starring British actors Helena Bonham Carter and Ben Kingsley at the Cannes Film Festival May 21.

The film sees a Prada-clad Bonham Carter’s character visiting a psychiatrist (played by Kingsley) to discuss a bad dream.

The doctor isn’t listening though, as he becomes captivated by her purple fur coat, which he eventually tries on before the tagline ‘Prada Suits Everyone’ fills the screen.

Just last month it was reported Chanel will host its annual Croisière presentation at the Château de Versailles on May 14, and now the prestigious location, which is situated near Paris, provides the setting for a dreamlike fashion video by Dior.

Directed by Italian moviemaker Giada Colagrande, the short film is the third installment of the Italian fashion house’s Women’s Tales Saga.

It sees models transforming themselves into dresses and features surrealist cinema influences such as reverse-speak and dreamlike sequences.
