Chanel has announced its move into Oxford Street’s Selfridges store with a new counter set to open this July, and to celebrate the occasion the brand will be launching a limited edition line of make-up.
The collection was created by Peter Phillips, global creative director for Chanel Makeup, who took his inspiration from the London scene.
The London Madness Collection includes new, eye-popping red shades of Rouge Allure and Le Vernis, and the highlight, the Pearly Banner Palette – an ivory, gold and silver highlighter stamped with the Union Jack.


Department store Selfridges is encouraging shoppers to buy their extremely expensive £1,000 ($1,500) Easter eggs in the hope they will gain value.
How? Because each of these exorbitantly priced eggs will contain a gold coin which the store considers to be of good investment value.
A Selfridges spokesman said: “According to the financial institution Swiss bank UBS, demand for gold will double this year compared to 2007”

London department store Selfridges in London has unveiled their luxurious new Christmas offerings which will go on sale starting next month.
The limited edition bear, which will be part of the store’s first ever toy collection, is thought to be the most expensive in the UK.
This £43,000 ($85,000) teddy has eyes made of emerald and diamonds, a nose of solid 24-carat gold and the bear’s fur is entwined with Gold Leaf.
