
Roberto Cavalli said it will open 85 new stores in China within the next five years under a deal signed on Tuesday with Shanghai-based retail giant UCCAL Group.
The company will open its first stores under the new deal in Beijing and Shanghai between late 2011 and early 2012, it said in a statement.
The venture will be called Roberto Cavalli China and will be owned 75 percent by the Roberto Cavalli Group and 25 percent by UCCAL.

Milan is preparing to host its annual men’s fashion show on Saturday, billed as the biggest in the world.
Thirty-six brands including Dolce&Gabbana, Giorgio Armani and Prada are set to take to the catwalks for the four-day fashion festival.
The autumn-winter collection show kicks off on Saturday with top brands including Ermenegildo Zegna, Dolce&Gabbana, Jil Sander and Roberto Cavalli.

To celebrate the brand’s 40th birthday Roberto Cavalli enlisted Gisele Bundchen to star in the brand’s Fall/Winter 2010/11 advertising campaign.
Decked from head to toe in lush animal prints, fur and decorative patterns, Gisele is on fire in the five image campaign shot by Mert & Marcus.


Jennifer Lopez is attending the Cannes Film Festival with husband Marc Anthony, 41, and is staying on a $30 million yacht from fashion designer Roberto Cavalli with their young twins Max and Emme.
According to Daily Star: “The yacht comes with its own crew of four so it’s much plusher than any hotel. And Jen can have all her entourage under one roof.”
“She was adamant she wanted a really private trip because she’s got the babies with her. She jumped at the chance of staying on Roberto’s boat.”
