Oslo has topped a list of the world’s most expensive cities compiled by price comparison site PriceRunner.

The Norwegian capital was the most expensive city of 32 countries surveyed in the International Price Comparison survey, topping the list for the fourth year running.

The survey, which looked at a range of products that included everyday items such as milk and petrol as well as luxury items and technology, found that prices in the city were a third more expensive on average than the global average.

After a two-day marathon of cooking and judging that pitted chefs from 24 countries against each other, the chef from Norway won the Bocuse d’Or, the cooking competition known as the Olympics of Food.

Geir Skeie, the 28-year-old chef at Mathuset Solvold in Sandefjord, Norway, will go home with a trophy of a golden effigy of Mr. Bocuse in his chef’s outfit and 20,000 euros, about $26,000.

Each chef was tasked to prepare a meat dish comprising Aberdeen Angus beef and a fish dish with Norwegian fresh cod, king scallops and wild prawns as core ingredients within 5 1/2 hours.

The Juvet Landscape Hotel, designed by Jensen & Skodviin Arkitektkontor, is located in Burtigard, Norway.

Each room of the hotel is a detached small independent house with one, or sometimes two of the walls constructed in glass. The landscape in which these rooms are placed is by most people considered spectacularly beautiful and varied and the topography allows a layout where no room looks at another.

In this way every room gets its own surprising view of a dramatic piece of landscape, always changing with the weather and the time of the day and the season.

This $400 million super-yacht was built for a Russian oligarch, Andrey Melnichenko, 37, who is worth $9.2 billion and was ranked 172 on the Forbes list of the world’s richest people.

There is a large master suite as well as six luxury cabins for up to 14 guests and enough room for 42 crew members.

Designed by Philippe Stark, the 400ft long superyacht is said to have its own discotheque featuring a glass roof which is situated directly under the swimming pool.
