The new Horizon RP110 superyacht Lady Gaga, which is the first motor yacht above 100 feet built for the Chinese market, was launched by Horizon Yachts.
The Lady Gaga motor yacht by Horizon has just successfully completed her sea trial, with delivery to her owner in China set for later this month.
Horizon created a unique exterior design for yacht Lady Gaga, one that is a radical departure from previous launches of RP series and includes both a vertical window line and wide body to allow for increased interior space.


Kirsty Bertarelli, the richest woman in Britain and her husband Ernesto have bought the biggest motor yacht ever built in the UK, the 315-ft. foot Vava II.
The $160 million megayacht, which now ranks as the 33rd largest in the world, was built by Devonport Yachts in Plymouth and boasts luxury interiors, a helicopter landing pad, lavish guest cabins and four tenders.
Kirsty is a former Miss UK, while her husband is a Swiss pharmaceuticals magnate who has won the America’s Cup twice with his yacht Alinghi and is worth a reputed $10 billion, making him the 81st richest man in the world and the fifth richest in the UK.

For $1 million per month you can now charter the world’s coolest superyacht, the 164-ft. Exuma built by Perini Navi, in the South Pacific.
The Exuma, the first motor yacht from the world-famous builder of the Maltese Falcon, and can accommodate ten guests in five luxurious staterooms.
The aluminum-hulled Exuma is the first model in the Picchiotti Vitruvius series, a collaboration between Perini Navi, Vitruvius Ltd. and architect Philippe Briand.


They already drive flashy cars, wear expensive watches and eat at top-end restaurants. Now rich Chinese businessmen have found a new way to flaunt their wealth –Â luxury boats.
“They want to go out on the ocean and have fun — and take VIP clients to fish and negotiate deals,” said Zheng Weihang, secretary general of the China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association.
With the second-largest number of dollar billionaires in the world after the United States, according to Forbes magazine, China is drawing eager foreign marina developers and boatmakers to its shores to tap the fast-growing market.
China currently has around 1,000 luxury powerboats and yachts moored around the country, and the number is expected to balloon to more than 10,000 over the next five years, Zheng told AFP.

UK-based design consultancy Claydon Reeves has unveiled an 80m superyacht christened ‘Remora’ at the 2010 Monaco Yacht Show.
The sleek craft is characterized by a narrow plumb bow, highly resolved, dynamic, taut surfaces and concave glass angling to its tapering stern.
The elaborate structure of the sundeck is a nod to Spanish Modernisme architect Antonio Gaudi and an indication of Claydon Reeves’ aesthetic ambitions.

Iconic Italian motoryacht maker Riva will debut its new 52′ Rivale Palm Beach at the Miami Yacht Show this weekend.
The boat’s deck and hull are finished in a new color, desert sand, with Roman bronze detailing on the dashboard and signal mast evoking the image of a shark’s flipper.
Inside the cabins, the walls and furniture are made of luminous elm, embellished with topstitched natural-grain leather, for a soft, dark contrast to the Roman bronze lacquering.
