
MINI has revealed the first two-seater in its model range, promising the “ultimate in go-kart feeling.”
The MINI Coupé is the latest variant in the rapidly-expanding Mini range and daringly introduces some premium racing features into the brand’s familiar shell.
Most noticeable among these is the flattened roof form, which MINI says has improved the aerodynamics of the vehicle, and an active rear spoiler which extends automatically at speeds of over 80km/h.

The brothers behind Canadian fashion label Dsquared2 have unveiled a fashion project of a rather different kind, dressing up a Mini Cooper S in aid of charity.
Dean and Dan Caten, familiar fixtures on the global fashion circuit, unveiled the exclusive Life Ball Mini 2011 in Vienna, the latest in a series of designers to have added their touch to the iconic car.
The twins’ model has been “armed for adventures of all kinds,” with a large front guard, rally-style headlamps and a spare tire mounted to the tailgate.

Iconic compact car maker Mini has unveiled a collaboration with top luxury marque Rolls-Royce at the Auto Shanghai show, which opens this week.
Boasting “top-grade materials, the highest level of workmanship and stylish supremacy,” the ‘Mini Inspired by Goodwood’ special edition transfers some of the luxury trappings of a fully-fledged Rolls-Royce into a much smaller package.
It was conceived at Rolls-Royce‘s design division in Goodwood, UK and is finished with several touches which will be familiar to fans of the luxury brand.

Mini presented last week at Geneva the new Rocketman, a concept that is regarded as a modern interpretation of the old and original Mini car.
MINI Rocketman measures 3.419 meters in length (133.8 inches), which means it is only a few centimeters longer than the original Mini launched in 1959.
MINI decided to construct the Rocketman from carbon fiber emphasizing a light weight body for fuel efficiency and top safety as carbon fiber crash properties are the best technology has to offer.

MINI has announced plans to offer in France a limited edition Cooper Hatch, called the Mat Edition.
The car features a matt black exterior wrap, checked mirror covers, unique side vents, and an individually-numbered key ring.
Production will be limited to 250 units. The €2800 package will be available to order as a MINI Cooper, Cooper D, Cooper S and John Cooper Works.
