Mexican distiller Hacienda La Capilla, has unveiled a 1.3 litter tequila bottle called “The Diamond Sterling” on Monday.
The bottle, made of 2.3-kilogram layer of platinum and over 4,000 diamonds totaling 328 carats, is valued at around $3.5 million.
The bottle, designed by Fernando Altamirano, was seen during an interview with Reuters television in Mexico City.

Lamborghini opened its first official dealerships in Mexico this week, a signal of the growing demand for luxury cars in the country.
The Italian marque’s Mexico City store opened for business October 26 on Insurgentes Sur, one of the city’s busiest streets and a commercial and governmental hub of the city.
On October 27 the marque celebrated the opening of Lamborghini Monterrey in the “Beverly Hills of Latin America,” a wealthy area popular with tourists from around the world.


Architectural photographer Iwan Baan recently shot the Universe House, a beach house in Mexico barely higher than the rock it sits on, with a pool on the roof.
The house was designed by Mexican artist Gabriel Orozco and built by architect Tatiana Bilbao. Via Propgo Luxury.

Italian-Mexican fine jewelry designer Victor Sabido Basteris has updated the classic friendship bracelet using eco-friendly, recycled silver filigree thread.
The inspiration for the collection stems from the beauty and vivid colors seen on the murals within the Mayan temples of Mexico.
The collection also uses gold, gemstones, wood, crystal, leather, and mother-of-pearl in a wide palette of colors to make dramatic one of a kind neckpieces.

President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla have provoked an outcry in France by spending the weekend at the El Tamarindo Beach and Golf Resorts in a one bedroom villa owned by a millionaire friend of Mexico‘s President Felipe Calderón.
The vast holiday home came complete with private pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and the service of a butler, personal cook and maid.
It is currently high season at the resort, with the villa costing $3,500 plus 17 per cent taxes and obligatory 10 per cent service charges – making a total of just over $4,300.
