MB&F have released the first images of their brand new movement, aptly named the “Thunderbolt”, which will form the engine of the highly anticipated Horological Machine Number 4.

Maximilian Busser & Friends (MB&F) has revealed his latest master timepiece, the Horological Machine No. 3 Frog, a whimsical twist on the HM3.
The time is displayed by two rotating domes underneath a pair of sapphire crystals that resemble a frog’s eyes.
The protruding eyes of the (amphibian) frog enable it to see in many directions without having to turn its head.
On the new HM3, the hour and minute indicators are raised domes that, like the frog, can give their owner a wider view of the time without having to twist a wrist.

Based on the popular Horological Machine 2 (MB&F‘s second watch), the SV offers a new view – literally. SV stands for “sapphire vision.”
Thanks to this transparent plate, this watch provides a great view into the exceptional automatic movement that drives the two dials.

The backdrop is a Palladian style structure engulfed in mist in the galaxy, aligning technique and three dimensional sculptures together.
From outer space ‘Starcruiser’ and ‘Sidewinder’ are travelling to Planet Earth to unravel a secret.
The secret of horological swiss brand MB&F which has been travelling in the galaxy of clock-making since the Belle Époque (the era of scientific and technological advancement) and is now returning to our planet.
