Marion Cotillard is back for the latest installment of the Lady Dior campaign titled Lady Blue. For this fourth chapter, Cotillard has been taken to Shanghai.

The short film follows a teaser clip that was released a few weeks ago, where Marion Cotillard, dressed in black, recites a poem penned by David Lynch, and dances with her blue Lady Dior bag.

Directed by David Lynch, the short film is a love story full of mystery. “It’s about memory, […] And then, when you remember, it’s different” Lynch said.

Exclusive! French actress Marion Cotillard has teamed up with Franz Ferdinand to record a song to launch Dior’s new fashion range.

Cotillard, the face of the French label, sings lead vocal on ‘The Eyes Of Mars’, written by the band.

The song will soundtrack an advert in which Cotillard plays a working woman who transforms herself into a sultry singer at night.

She emerges from behind a velvet curtain in a club to sing the song.

As anticipation builds up over David Lynch’s ‘Lady Dior’ commercial, fans of French actress Marion Cotillard, who again stars in the ads, can already peek behind the scenes of the print campaign for the range.

The making-of shows star photographer Annie Leibovitz directing Cotillard, who is wearing Dior’s latest collections, as creative director John Galliano and other onlookers are watching the scene.

The latest chapter of the Alfred Hitchcock-inspired ‘Lady Dior’ commercial was recently shot by Lynch in Shanghai.

While more and more Hollywood actresses are starring in fashion commercials, it has become common practice to put celebrities of equally high caliber behind the cameras.

The next chapter in the Lady Dior advertising saga, sees the Oscar-winning actress continuing her adventures, this time in New York City as “Lady Red.”

Print ads, photographed by Annie Leibovitz, are slated to break in August fashion titles and be plastered around Paris during fashion week in October.
