Designed by Mari Balestrazzi, the Semi-Automatic is a vending machine designed for the Morgans Hotel Group.

The design deals with the idea of a hotel gift shop, but instead of selling souveniers like a gift shop, or soda and candy like a vending machine, it sells a variety of luxe items curated by Kim Walker, the hotel group’s creative director.

The unique products range from 24-karat gold handcuffs from Kiki de Montparnasse, luxury cars for rent (a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow or 2000 Bentley Azure convertible), Fred Flare heart sunglasses, a 14-karat gold necklace by Kiel Mead, and Atari classics for Playstation.

Aquaplus Solutions has launched Aqua Jewels, a luxury bathroom faucet range designed for Bonomi by Marcel Wanders.
Internationally renowned for his collaborations with Droog Design, B&B Italia and Bisazza, multi-award winning Wanders has turned his attention to brassware design including bathroom faucets. The new Aqua Jewels luxury faucet range is characterized by the use of the diamond form throughout and includes basin, bidet, bath faucets and shower fixtures plus complementary accessories.
Each element is adorned with and operated by a chrome plated brass control cut in the shape of a diamond. This contrasts with the simple design of the brassware which is offered in two styles, plain polished or etched, which continues the diamond theme across the body of this luxury bathroom brassware. Flos Skygarden by Marcel Wanders is a much anticipated new pendant series providing direct light. Skygarden was inspired by an antique decorated plaster ceiling in the designers previous home.

The design features fine detail including leaves flowers and branches. The light bulb cover has a laser cut pattern featuring one of Marcel Wanders design patterns.
