English Premiership giant Manchester United is the most valuable franchise in sports, according to a study compiled by Forbes Magazine.
Forbes released its list of the world’s most valuable teams Wednesday, with Manchester on top at 1.84 billion dollars.
The second highest and top North American franchise is the National Football League’s Dallas Cowboys at 1.65 billion dollars.

On August 28th, Jean-Claude Biver unveiled in front of the Old Trafford stadium the biggest clock ever built by Hublot.
It was specially created for the reigning English champions, and, at a height of 10 metres, designed to take pride of place in front of the legendary stadium.
The clock was unveiled in the presence of Sir Alex Ferguson and the Manchester United players.

Manchester City’s new billionaire owner, Sulaiman Al-Fahim, has revealed that the club will be bidding £140 million ($250million) for Cristiano Ronaldo when the January transfer window opens.
He told The Guardian: “Ronaldo has said he wants to play for the biggest club in the world, so we will see in January if he is serious.”
“Real Madrid were estimating his value at $160million but for a player like that, to actually get him, will cost a lot more; I would think $240million, three times the world transfer record, set in 2001 when Zinedine Zidane moved from Juventus to Real Madrid. But why not? We are going to be the biggest club in the world, bigger than both Real Madrid and Manchester United.”
Al-Fahim also re-iterated that he would investigate the potential availability of the former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry, Valencia’s David Villa and the former Brazil international Ronaldo to join Robinho in a “dream team” that would be able to challenge for the Champions League within two or three years.

The Portuguese midfielder bought the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe from Doncaster-based luxury car dealer Liquid 45. He gave instructions for it to be “fully loaded,” a trade term for all the added extras.
Cristiano, 23, also owns an Aston Martin, a BMW 6 Series, a Bentley Continental and a Ferrari. As a matter of fact, the Phantom will replace his £140,000 Bentley Continental.
