Italian brand Roberto Cavalli has announced that it will open its first Japan flagship store in September, with the designer behind the label to visit Tokyo to mark the opening of the boutique in early November.
The store is located in the city’s upmarket Aoyama district and will also be the first directly owned and managed Roberto Cavalli boutique in Asia.

Travelers are set to see more of the famous Ducati motorcycle brand in airports, following the opening of a pilot store in Italy.
Passengers passing through Rome Fiumicino can now stop off at a new Ducati store in Terminal 3, the first outpost of a new partnership between the motorcycle maker and airport retailer Meridian Duty Free which opened July 4.

To celebrate the opening of its Beijing flagship store, Burberry staged its biggest runway show to date on April 13, at the Beijing Television Center.
The fashion-meets-technology extravaganza featured Brit rockers Keane who had never before performed in the country, stunning lifelike holograms, and an impressive turnout of celebrities and top models on and off the runway.
The luxury brand has traditionally rejected the airport retailing channel – though it is present in downtown travel retail through selected Gallerias run by fellow LVMH subsidiary DFS, and through high-class Korean retailers such as Shilla and Lotte.
