Veuve Clicquot is opening its first champagne bar and boutique at London’s Harrods store.
The Veuve Clicquot boutique is located on the first floor alongside international luxury fashion labels. There is also a lounge area with gray and yellow tones and glass topped tables for a more quiet place to contemplate money spent.
It will stock the full range of Veuve Clicquot Cuvees, from Yellow Label and Veuve Clicquot Rose to Vintages and La Grande Dame. All are available by the glass and by the bottle. Prices start from £13.00 ($20.00) per flute.
And while their imaginations are limitless, the bottle certainly is not. It’s priced at 65 euros ($90) and has been available since November 2007 from an exclusive selection of retail outlets, including Colette in Paris. Piper-Heidsieck « upside-down » has recently been awarded at the Monaco Luxe Pack fair !
The antonym of vintage has to be the newest spark of an idea in motion. Such is the case with Russo-Baltique Vodka; yet to be tasted and to appear in public, further fuelling the hype and Über-curiosity for this version of the delectable spirit.
A myth in the making, what is known is the inspiration behind it. Powered by passion for the finer and unique things in life this enigmatic and exclusive vodka is the brainchild of armour, combat car maker Russo-Baltique, DARTZ.TV Corporation in collaboration with Princess Regina Abdurazakova of Kazakhstan oil heiress fame.
The world’s most expensive vodka will be released on April 19 at the Top Marques Monaco and Prince Albert will be honoured with a gift of the very first bottle of this connoisseur creation. Reportedly priced at one million Euro ($1,35 million) we assume it chills on ice,
The Petit Coeur (meaning Little Heart) drinking glass is the latest creation of Etienne Menueau, a French designer who brought us a series of unusually-shaped carafes.
This work of art is an abstract reinterpretation of the human heart, complete with its atriums, ventricles, and an aorta for a spout.
The unique drinking glass is 20 cm tall, and made of borosilicate glass. only 12 (eight numbered and signed and four artist proofs) were made and they cost a shocking €1,500 ($2,000). Wine is good for the heart right ? ^_^
There will be a new limited Absolut series available, soon. Last year’s flashy Absolut Disco series sold almost 3 million bottles !
The Swedish vodka brand, that is distributed by Pernod-Ricard (a French company) from October on, wants to tie in with last year’s success. The result: Absolut Masquerade.
The new limited gift pack Absolut Masquerade is made from 3238 shiny red sequins, and comes with a zipper in the back. When you unzip the wrapping the label states: “In an Absolut world every night is a masquerade.”
La Grande Dame comes in a special casket that has been designed with a posh look by Andree Putman, interior designer. The casket doesn’t just carry a cubist aura but is also practical since it doubles up as the ice holder (The Veuve website has a video with Andree Putnam as she explains her theory in creating the box).
La Grande Dame from Veuve Cliquot is as luxurious as it comes. The fine bubbly, casing and even the price is going to leave you breathless : the item is only available in a limited edition of 2,000 and the box along with a bottle of the champagne sells for around $500.
