The Palazzo Versace Hotel in Dubai will ultimately be one of 16 luxury branded resorts located around the world, which will take Gianni Versace inspired ostentation to a new level.
The completed hotel will incorporate 169 private flats all decorated and furnished in the Versace style.
Some of the more interesting features will include Hand cut mosaic floors, Communal areas will have immense seawater aquariums with exotic Red Sea fish and also under beach cooling system to ensure you don’t burn your feet.
This market seems to be defying the global doom with 100 units already sold. Kate Hudson is reported to be one of the purchasers having bought a 2,210 sq ft flat for £2.23 million ($4.46 million).
Palazzo Versace already have a resort on Australia’s Gold Coast with other’s planned for Goa, Abu Dhabi, India, China, Russia, Paris, London, New York and Rome.

Maurice Lacroix just unveiled their stunning Memoire 1 which houses a number of innovations under the Memoire’s sleek watch face.
This is the first mechanical watch with a memory function. Inside the white gold case is a 48 jewel automatic movement, transparent mineral based hour disc, and a chronograph with “mechanical memory” that can remember elapsed times.
For example, you can switch into chrono mode, setting the hands to 12 o’clock and then revert to watch mode and the hands will flit back to their correct position.
It should be with a retail price of £135,000 ($270,000).

Feisty pop group, Girls Aloud made a fast £125,000 ($250,000) for a 1 hour performance at British Billionaire, Eddie Healey’s 70th birthday party.

By all accounts, Mr Healey went to town with the rest of his bash by spending a further £300,000 ($600,000) on hiring a ballroom and entertaining 300 guests at London’s Dorchester Hotel.

A classic Lucian Freud portrait of a rather plump lady, is predicted to break the world auction record for most expensive painting by a living artist.
The elegantly constructed masterpiece is titled “Benefits Supervisor Sleeping” named after the profession of the sitter.
The painting which was completed in 1995 is expected to fetch $35 million (£18 million) at Christie’s, exceeding the current record of $23.56 million, held since last year by the American artist Jeff Koons. Via lussorian
