Singapore Airlines is to offer private jet transfer in Europe to passengers flying from Australia, the airline confirmed last week.
A partnership with Lufthansa’s Private Jet services will mean that passengers flying to one of Singapore Airline’s 14 European destinations will be able to continue their journey on a private jet to one of over 1,000 airports in Europe.
The model is almost exactly the same as PrivateConnect, the British Airways tie-up with CitationAir announced earlier this year which provides private jet connections in North America for passengers arriving on BA flights.

Germany’s largest airline, Lufthansa, has lately received its first Airbus A380 jetliner, and they claim its cabin to be the “world’s quietest first class.”
The First-Class bathroom features wide vertical mirrors and a five-star hotel-style vanity area. The bathroom is fitted with separate wash, changing and toilet areas.
“There’s a leather banquette seat in the changing area, for heaven’s sake,” travel website, Jaunted, said in a review.

Lufthansa is to join British Airways and Air France in revamping its first class cabins ahead of the World Cup in May, according to Bloomberg.
The new first class package will debut in May, ahead of the airline’s inaugural A380 flight to Johannesburg, carrying the German World Cup team.
The new first and business class menus will be designed by Michelin-starred chef Holger Stromberg, the chef to Germany’s national football team.

Business and first class passengers on Lufthansa flights from the US to Germany will soon be able to enjoy meals provided by luxury hotel chain Ritz-Carlton.
From May 1 until August 2010, the partnership will see chefs at Ritz-Carlton properties in Denver, New York, Boston and San Francisco creating dishes for Lufthansa’s premium passengers on flights from the carrier’s 18 US gateways to Germany.
The Ritz-Carlton menus will change every two months and will begin with dishes created by Andres Jimenez, chef at the Ritz-Carlton Denver.
