Usually, where there are extremely coveted gadget, there are always extremely expensive luxury cases for them ! You think iPhone is expensive ? so what about spending another 2 iPhones to protect it?
Anyways Louis Vuitton thought that there is a market for the kind of folks who can afford it and so they have released a set of four cases for the iPhone: Monogram Canvas, Taiga Leather, Epi Leather and Alligator Skin.
Available only in Louis Vuitton’s Manhattan store, prices begin at $225 from the monogram canvas style to $1,120 for the alligator case.
But all of the cases are pretty inconvenient, because you’ve got to pull the iPhone all the way out to actually use it.
Those sunglasses with illusion Louis Vuitton logo all over the lenses can now be had by Filipino fans of the brand as Louis Vuitton makes its eyewear collection available in the Philippines for the first time.
The Marc Jacobs-designed handcrafted eyewear has LV-philes drooling as it employs distinct design elements used in its iconic trunks and leathergoods—the S-lock, Monogram Flower and Coin de Malle hinges, for instance. The popular Monogram and Damier patterns are also used in its acetate frames.
LV’s patented Landscape Vision guarantees 100-percent protection from UV rays. All lenses go through the so-called polarization treatment that improves visual comfort: the sun glare from wet and flat surfaces is reduced and color contrast is increased.
The Spring-Summer 2008 collection has 39 styles for men and women, including the Illusion and Conspiration Pilote range that employ the Monogram logos on the lenses, retailing from $560 to $750. No worries, the logos don’t block your vision when you wear the eyeglasses.
This new addition to the LV merchandise for the local market is testament to the French luxury malletier’s confidence in the Philippines that, according to brand director Rhea de Vera-Aguirre, they’re in a constant search for a new store location in the northern part of the metropolis.
Louis Vuitton collaborated with Richard Prince for a spring line of handbags and they are now offering a limited-edition style to celebrate the artist’s first major UK solo exhibition from June 26 to September 7, entitled “Continuation,” at the Serpentine Gallery.
Only 50 of the ostrich and canvas Jamais bags are available, each numbered and signed by the artist. They will be sold exclusively at Vuitton’s Sloane Street store in London during Prince’s solo show and will be priced at about $17,800.
Louis Vuitton is offering something highly unconventional and much more colorful and bold than the usual fare. Designed by Marc Jacobs and Richard Prince, its roots are clearly evident in the vibrant colors, unexpected decorative embellishments and overall design. It’s a roomy purse that shakes up Louis Vuitton’s classic monogram print with modern, edgy touches.
Available for $5400.

Designed by Pharrell Williams in collaboration with Camille Miceli (the Vuitton creative consultant who now designs jewelry for the brand and handles Marc Jacobs’s personal public relations), this new Louis Vuitton collection is a variation on four themes, in which the rhythm and energy of the new continent harmonize with the spirit of historic Europe.
Blason originates from French Heraldry and is the symbol of a dynasty, synonymous with a coat of arms, and for centuries has conveyed aristocratic heritage from one generation to another. Williams, a longtime collector of Louis Vuitton luggage who, along with friend and A Bathing Ape founder Nigo designed and launched the house’s first sunglass collection in April 2005, has emblazoned the history of Louis Vuitton with this special collection of edgy, avant-garde pieces inspired by the music universe and featuring combinations that include, but are not limited to, white gold with diamonds and yellow gold with diamonds.
The collection will be available in Louis Vuitton Shops this spring. The pieces range in price from 1,400 to 420,000 Euros, or approximately $2,070 to $621,000.
