This incredible looking concept vehicle for Audi is called the A’KIMONO LS2.0.
It is designed by Teodor Kyuchukov and features lighting design elements borrowed from traditional interior lighting practices seen in monuments, sports facilities, and architectural buildings.
The concept was based around the idea that most car designers design the exterior of the car in such a way that makes it virtually invisible at night.
The project is based on the original A’kimono Concept which received the third prize at the Desire Design Contest 2007 organized by Domus Academy & Stile Bertone. Via Doobybrain

Lighting up the street, these plastic flowers and bushes are coated and molded with special glow paint.
Created by Pent Talvet & Kristian Paljasma, these special paints called “Luminaarparaad” absorb the solar energy during the day and thus glow at night.

Leaving the lights off this year would have been the sensible option. But as you can see, Alex Goodhind refuses to let these dark times ruin the warm glow of Christmas.
So for the 14th year in a row, the 24-year-old IT firm manager has spent weeks turning his father’s home in Melksham, Wiltshire, into an extraordinary light show.
More than 115,000 bulbs are used in the £30,000 ($44,200) display which lights up Longford Road every evening until 10pm. This year, he has spent £2,000 ($3,000) on additional lights to the delight of his daily crowd of 300 visitors.

Are you the lucky owner of any penthouse that has been on the market recently? If so, you may need help to decorate it.
Though, surfing the web, we have discovered Delightfull, a Portuguese design company that makes High-end and luxury lighting design for luxury living.
In their first collection of 25 pieces, called “heritage”, they reviewed Design trends from the 50s & 60s. Divided in four categories (suspension-ceiling, floor, table and wall) their pieces are totally handcrafted in Europe and come with customized color.
Prices start at $500 but the most awesome designs that you can see below are much more expensive! Not sure exactly where you can buy all the 25 pieces but you can buy the lamps through their website though.
Ella - ceiling – $7,250 (€4,620)

Cole - Floor – $4,365 (€2,772)
Sinatra - Floor – $4,670 (€2,964)

Miles - Table – $2,535 (€1,608)
