Swiss watchmaker Hublot has launched a new diamond-covered 18k white gold Big Bang tourbillon watch, which costs a whopping €2 million ($2.8 million).
The new Hublot Big Bang Watch set in 18 carat gold with a gold Big Bang tourbillion comes studded with as many as 142 carats worth of baguette diamonds, which covers the case, dial, and bracelet.
A total of 637 baguette diamonds along with one rose cut diamond on the crown dress up this masterpiece.

To mark the 2011 Baselworld Fair Hublot is presenting a world first, with a minute repeater watch featuring two “Cathedral” type gongs, a tourbillon and column wheel chronograph, with carbon fiber bridges, in a case made from carbon fiber.
This is a perfect illustration of “Fusion” between great watchmaking tradition and the technology of the future.

Following on from the Big Bang, King Power and Classic Fusion collections, Hublot is now presenting the fourth new line of watches, entitled Masterpiece.
Imagined, developed and manufactured entirely by the Confrerie Horlogere Hublot, the Master Piece MP-01 is the first Hublot barrel-shaped watch.
Featuring tonneau-shaped design, the movement is built on 43 jewels and comprises 384 parts.

Hublot has recently unveiled a new version of the La Clef du Temps watch, called “La Clé Du Temps” that is different from any other watch the brand has created before.
The name La Clé Du Temps translates to English as “the key of time”, chosen for this watch due to a special set of functionality.
Upon the owner’s command, time will slow down or speed up as displayed on the watch, ready to revert to the proper time as needed.

On November 25th, 2010, Bernie Ecclestone was mugged and his Hublot watch stolen from his wrist.
The 80-year-old, attacked a week ago, sent the snap to Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of Hublot, with the note: “See what people will do for a Hublot”.
Since the two share a certain sense of humor, they soon agreed to turn the incident into an advert.
