Goldstriker, the UK company known to clad mobile phones, amongst many other things, in obnoxious 24ct gold and other precious metals, has announced it is now offering a new iPhone edition, the Solar Star.
Both the front bezel of the handset and the Apple logo on the rear comes plated with 24ct gold. Rest of the casing, including the antenna cover, touts the Balloon White paint, which you might spot on a Lamborghini Gallardo. To top the features, this is a 16GB version and has been updated to firmware 1.1.4 and unlocked for worldwide GSM use.
“The $1,477 price tag is not for everyone. Some of us would rather save the money for a 3G iPhone, despite how beautiful this one looks.”
