Porsche Unveils Second Generation 911 GT3

The new Porsche 911 GT3 , which will make its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show, is the latest evolution of an iconic sports car.

In developing the second generation of the Type 997 911 GT3 into the most sporting and dynamic road-going 911 ever with a naturally-aspirated power unit.

The new 911 GT3 is making its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show on 3 March, with Europe-wide sales starting in May. The Euro base price of the new GT3 is Euro 98,100.

Wiesmann Celebrates 20th Birthday with Special Edition GT MF4-S

Retro-style automaker Wiesmann is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a limited-edition GT MF4-S.

The closed two-seater is powered by a BMW-sourced 4.8L V8 engine but output has been lifted to 420hp (309kW) – the standard GT MF4 produces 367hp (270kW).

This pretty coupe comes with the option of six-speed manual or dual-clutch auto transmission, and unique upholstery and instrumentation.

Scotland’s supercar

Named after a Scottish demon, the Falen is the creation of Gleneagles-based design studio Dowdeswell and Hardie.

At least it will be, once the vehicle gets off the computer screen and onto the road. Lending credibility is the presence of that Judd engine, the GV 5.5L V10 that’s widely used in Le Mans Prototype class cars.

Serious specifications go along with the gravity of 800 horsepower. The ultra-exclusive Falen – only four will be built – will be constructed of carbon fiber and feature a hinged greenhouse like a jet fighter
