Today, we are touring yet another contemporary masterpiece, this one set on a 0.93 acre parcel in a sought-after Windermere location.
The lakefront home, of over 9,000 square feet, offers high-end finishes and detailing throughout, such as the Calcutta gold marble flooring in the master and Swarovski crystal insets on the fireplace.
The 4-year-old home was very tastefully designed, influenced by multiple cultures and styles to showcase true harmony.

Pets are soon to get their own hotel alongside their owners’ at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
A new hotel catering to dogs and cats is scheduled to go into operation at the massive theme park on August 27, taking care of cats and dogs while their owners stay in one of the resort’s 33 more traditional hotels.
The new Best Friends Pet Care Resort describes itself as a “luxury pet resort,” offering everything from walkies to grooming for pampered pets.

Walt Disney Co. plans to unveil Wednesday a pricey vacation-home development in Florida’s Walt Disney World.
It’s a risky move. Disney will offer homes priced between $1.5 million and $8 million in a state where the foreclosure rate remains among the nation’s highest.
In Orlando, where brokers say home values have dropped 50% from the peak, Disney’s pricing would put its homes near the top of the market.

Although not yet finished, the “largest family home in America” is now for sale in southwest Orange County, with an asking price of $75 million.
The 30-bedroom mansion – modelled after France’s Palace of Versailles – is the latest victim of the economic downturn in America.
The house boasts its own bowling alley, roller skating rink and Olympic-sized swimming pool, and is the largest family home ever built in the U.S.

Despite the economy, the South Beach W Hotel has opened their doors with much fanfare.
Developers pumped more than $500 million into the 408-unit condo-hotel that features an oceanfront balcony and marble bathrooms in each guest room, as well as contemporary art in public spaces from such masters as Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat and photographer Danny Clinch.
Some facilities will open later this summer, including the first Florida outlet of Mr. Chow restaurant and a unit of New York-based Bliss Spa.

A couple from Boca Raton, Florida, have this week welcomed the first commercially cloned dog into their home – at the eye-watering cost of $155,000.
The Ottos were one of five families to bid and win a BioArts auction for a chance to clone their family dog, according to a BioArts statement.
Amazingly the couple had the foresight to store samples of Sir Lancelot’s DNA five years ago in the hope that cloning technology would one day be readily available to those willing to pay.
