In addition to Oakley, Gucci will also be rolling out 3D eyeglasses to target the high-end consumer electronics shopper.
Gucci’s version bears its familiar green and red web stripe detail at the temples and center brow bar, and a “Gucci 3D” logo on the right lens.
The Gucci 3-D glasses contain a high tech multi-layered mirrored coating which allows the wearer to view themselves in a mirror without distortion.
Remember when Giorgio Armani launched its Frames of Life print campaign earlier this year?
Well, in a bid to keep things current, the Italian label has just unveiled a brand new interactive website to put the ad online.
The interactive portal will allow you as a visitor to create personalized videos and photo albums, which can then be shared through various social media platforms.
Italian eyewear giant Luxottica announced it would produce the world’s first ever line of 3D glasses that can be made to fit individual eyeglass prescription through its US brand Oakley later this year.
Oakley “has achieved unparalleled visual clarity while extending the wearer’s peripheral viewing angle and providing a truer alignment of 3D images”.
Luxottica said it has been using the workshops of US industry giant DreamWorks Animation for testing.
