Hermes is one of the few international luxury labels to have furniture. In 1987, it introduced the Pippa chair in pear wood.
The chair was created by the architect and designer Rena Dumas, the wife of the Hermes chairman Jean-Louis Dumas. The Pippa collection has since evolved into a line of foldable indoor and outdoor furniture.
Recently, Hermes has come out with an ultra-luxe update on its classic Pippa folding chair, finished in the world’s finest matte black crocodile skin.

Billionaire Couture, the Italian men’s “extreme luxury” brand founded by Formula One mogul Flavio Briatore and designer Angelo Galasso, has come out with the world’s most expensive umbrella.
Priced at $50,000, it’s the world’s most expensive umbrella and is made from black top-quality, water resistant crocodile skin. This luxe umbrella is available by special order from Billionaire Couture’s new London flagship in Sloane Street, SW1.
Briatore established Billionaire Couture as “the first international haute couture line exclusively for men.” Every item is handmade in Italy in strictly limited quantities, and is the result of “obsessive research into fabrics, materials and details.”
The other day we told you about Karl Lagerfeld’s bespoke trunk from Louis Vuitton. In the same vein, we now present Eric Clapton’s ultra-luxurious, custom-made crocodile guitar case from Hermès.
Clapton’s case was specially made to hold his Martin 00028 EC acoustic guitar, the rock star’s signature model (“EC” are his initials) which he helped to design.
Handmade using the world’s finest crocodile skin, poplar wood from Pennsylvania and a very fine, soft blue velvet lining, you will make your musician’s holiday dreams come true for just $100,000. (Via Luxist)

Alfred Dunhill have commissioned Swiss inventor Roland Iten to create a unique belt highlighting Dunhill’s commitment to motor-sports.
The Alfred Dunhill Mechanical Belt Buckle by Roland Iten is the result of countless hours of research to create a belt buckle which is made with the same skills used in the creation of Swiss watches.
The Mechanical Belt is designed for ultra-precise adjustments of exactly 35mm – the “two thumb” measurement a tailor will traditionally build into a custom made suit for added comfort.

If you’re a guy whose wallet is a helluva lot bigger than your muscles and you’re looking to impress at the gym, you could start hauling your gear in the Tumbled Croc Bel Air Gym Bag.
Modeled after the traditional locker room duffel, and costing more than some compact cars, this incredibly over-the-top, made-to-order bag from luxury leather goods company Mulholland, is made from super soft, oil-tanned and waxed Nile Crocodile skins.
Your sweaty clothes and old Nikes are too good to travel in the bottom of a nylon duffel? Unzip the antique silver zipper and rest them on this bag’s haberdashery pinstripe silk instead. It measures a big 12″ x 19″ x 10″, so if you should hook up with your personal trainer, you can pack it with enough stuff for an overnight. This gym bag retails at $13,800.
