Toyota took another step towards a new sports model March 1 with the unveiling of the FT-86 II concept at the Geneva Motor Show.
The biggest hint yet of the styling expected from a new production sports model, the FT-86 II was described as a model that paid homage to Toyota’s previous sports cars of the past such as the 2000 GT of the 1960s.
The model features a long, low hood and rear-set cabin and measures 4,235 mm long and 1,270mm high.

Infiniti has released the first pictures of the Etherea, the concept which it will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
Believed to hint at a future model aimed at younger buyers from the Nissan-owned luxury brand, Nissan says that the Etherea brings together elements of coupé, sedan hatchback and even crossover in one highly sculptural, near-mono volume form.
Infiniti currently lacks an entry-level model with direct appeal to the younger market such as the Lexus CT 200h or BMW 1-Series which have both proved popular, successfully widening the appeal of their top-end brands from a traditional audience.

But shortly after it was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, reports began to emerge suggesting that the Italian automaker could put it into production, however limited.
You could wait several years for the high-tech supercar to go into production – or you could order one on JamesList right now for €1.85 million.
