
Rémy Martin and La Maison du Chocolat, have created a new limited edition gift box for lovers of both fine cognac and chocolate.
The red lacquered box contains a bottle of Rémy Martin XO Excellence Cognac positioned side by side with a signature gift box of assorted chocolates.
The box is created by Cellar Master of the House of Rémy Martin, Pierrette Trichet and Master Pastry Chef, Creative Director at La Maison du Chocolat, Gilles Marchal.


The Claridges bar in Mayfair has launched a new and unique cocktail which combines Rémy Martin XO Excellence and the King of Cognacs Louis XIII.
Created by Claridges Bar Manager, Denis Broci, the “Fleur de Lis” mixes Rémy Martin XO Excellence with dissolved sugar and a twist of citrus rind.
Each cocktail is served in a chilled Martini glass and topped with a spray of century old Louis XIII cognac from a specially designed atomiser.


Drawing on its 19th Century heritage, the Marnier-Lapostolle family have created Quintessence, a reinterpretation of the original Grand Marnier liqueur.
Set to be introduced at the 2011 TFWA World Exhibition next month, Quintessence blends rare Cognacs with a subtle orange essence.
It is described as having a more subtle bouquet, fusing long-held standards with a contemporary vision.

A new cognac created to be sipped specifically on the rocks was launched this week and is described as a flavor journey that will take the drinker through aromas of white peach, lemon sorbet and iced mint as the temperature of the elixir drops.
Ice Cognac by ABK6 is said to develop its distinct aromas as it progressively comes into contact with cold temperatures and water.
