Chivas Regal have teamed up with New York illustrator Dan Funderburgh to launch a limited-edition gift tin for its 12-year-old expression.
The tin, which is inspired by the Chivas Regal crest, features a gold image of the lion emblem which appears on all Chivas Regal packaging.

British luxury brands Chivas Regal and Vivienne Westwood have announced a new collaboration at London Fashion Week – the limited edition Chivas Regal 18 Year Old by Vivienne Westwood.
Vivienne Westwood’s creation for Chivas Regal clearly illustrates Westwood’s unparalleled reputation for design excellence and pattern cutting know how.
With the current design of the Union Flag dating back to 1801 and Chivas Brothers roots also being traced back to this iconic year, the distinctive bottle appears cloaked in Vivienne Westwood’s Union Jack print.

British designer Vivienne Westwood is the latest to create a special packaging for Chivas Regal‘s 18 year Scotch bottle.
The last limited edition bottle was designed by Christian Lacroix and the design was more traditional.
The limited edition of Chivas Regal 18 will sell for around the 200 Euro mark, and will be available for Christmas 2010 and into the new year.

Fashion designer Christian Lacroix and Chivas team up for a special edition Chivas Regal 18 Year Old release.
Following on from the launch of the Chivas 12 Year Old Magnum by Christian Lacroix last year (pictured below), the new edition of Chivas 18yo will be available in selected travel retail outlets from November.
Chivas Regal 18 Year Old by Christian Lacroix features a lavish, brocade presentation box in French jacquard, with a mirrored interior, while the familiar Chivas label on the bottle is also embroidered in jacquard.

Recently the “haute couture” bottle design has become a huge craze. We previously had Jean Paul Gaultier designing limited edition Evian ‘couture’ and ‘pret-a-porter’ water bottles.
And now we have Scottish Whisky maker Chivas Regal that have teamed up with British designer Alexander McQueen to create a limited edition bottle for their Gold Signature 18 Year whiskey, just in time for Christmas.
The limited edition bottle is clad in a blue leather dress and features a gold label as well as a cork made in McQueen’s signature Union Jack colors.
“This is a piece of art which reflects the luxury and craftsmanship values of what haute couture is all about,” McQueen tells Vogue UK. “You can see my signature ‘stamp’ with the blue leather ‘dress’ and the Union Jack colors. I have created a rare collector’s item that those with an eye for design will want to keep.”
Only 2,000 individually numbered bottles are being produced and will be available exclusively from deluxe UK department store Selfridges, for about 300 British pounds (currently about $490).
