A second group of artworks from the collection of the late fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Berge is expected to fetch up to 4 million euros ($5.7 million) when it appears for sale in November.
Christie’s International’s YSL Part II sale, held in collaboration with Pierre Berge, will take place at its Paris auction rooms on November 17, 18 and 19.
Almost 1,200 pieces will be offered, about half of them from the couple’s coastal retreat, Chateau Gabriel, at Benerville near Deauville in Normandy.

Italian coachbuilder Aznom used the recent Top Marques Monaco event to unveil its new “Chateau” hatch based on the new Mini Clubman S, a Mini that, thanks to its name evokes the elegance of the world of the Grands Chateaux.
The custom Mini Chateau will be produced in a limited run of just 12 examples and will keep the elegant wood trim and shockproof wine cellar, capable of holding six bottles, of the concept model.
Concerning the inner features, the match of aged / gaucho leather and Alcantara creates a warm vintage atmosphere that embraces the passengers in a special trip of elegance, emotion and tradition, while its exterior surfaces have been covered in a custom iridescent brown and gold paint.

Other features include 18in TSW ‘Pace’ alloy wheels wrapped in 205/40 Yokohama S-Drive rubber.
Each of the 12 cars will have their owner’s name printed on a numbered plaque. The price has not been unveiled yet.
