The ASUS-Automobili Lamborghini VX7 has come speeding onto the UK market.

Fans of the iconic Italian brand, especially those who can’t afford the cars’ million-dollar price tags, can bring a piece of grand touring tradition into their office.

The laptop offers a distinctive outer-casing design, a 15.6″ display, dual 750GB hard drives and quad-core 2nd generation Intel Core i7 processors and is the world’s first laptop with dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M graphics.

Asus has teamed with electronics maker Bang & Olufsen to create a multimedia system with some pretty unique features.

ASUS NX90 Bang & Olufsen laptop is designed by award winning B&O Chief designer David Lewis.

While at first it looks like a mounted LCD or plasma TV, this is in fact an 18.4-in display notebook computer.

Taking a page out of its Lamborghini-branded notebooks, computer hardware giant ASUS once again draws upon the appeal of co-branding with the ZX1 Lamborghini PDA, one in its latest lineup of luxury touch-screen PDA phones.
Combining classic Lamborghini design principles along with a high-grade stainless steel and carbon fiber finish, the first noticeable trait of the phone no doubt lies in its looks.

Beyond its appearance lies a host of cutting edge features that include 3G access, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a customizable graphic user interface as well as a Windows Mobile operating system; making it, at least on paper, a worthy alternative to Apple’s iPhone. Although its release date is yet to be announced, the phone is expected to retail for approximately US$1,000.

iPod integration has become more and more prevalent in the automotive industry, as automakers offer the compatibility on models ranging from subcompacts up to exotic supercars. But this is taking it a step further: a Lamborghini iPhone.

Reports indicate that Asus will unveil a Lamborghini-branded PDA phone to rival Apple’s iPhone at the CeBit tech show next month in Germany.

It is expected to run either the Pro or 6.1 edition of the Windows Mobile operating system and pack WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity, a touch screen and a 520 MHz Qualcomm CPU.
