Rihanna has renewed her Armani contract for another season and the singer’s latest advert for the brand has just been released.

Armani has released a video teaser for its underwear campaign starring the singer.

Shortly after launching its men’s campain with tennis player Rafael Nadal, Armani has released long-awaited images for its jeans range starring pop star Rihanna.

The singer is taking over from actress Megan Fox for the campaign, with the second batch of images — for the brand’s underwear line — yet to be brought out.

Rihanna is upping her advertising game at the moment, also having just been named the new face of skincare brand Nivea.

The Italian fashion brand has released its latest underwear and jeans campaigns starring the world’s number one tennis player.

Nadal — photographed by Steven Klein — is the third athlete to front the campaign, following in the footsteps of David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The tennis player’s female counterpart for the brand’s underwear campaign is singer Rihanna who will replace actress Megan Fox. Her ads are yet to be released.

Less than a month after announcing its partnership with Italian designers Dolce & Gabbana, e-tailer Yoox has said it is readying an online destination to shop all of Armani’s ranges under one virtual roof.

The new armani.com Online Store “Powered by YOOX Group” will be launched in the second half of 2011.

Armani.com will be mainly active in Europe, the US, Japan and China, and will feature the Giorgio Armani, Armani Collezioni, Armani Junior, EA7, Emporio Armani and Armani Jeans brands.

Rihanna will replace Megan Fox in the next cycle of underwear and jeans ads for Emporio Armani.

Rumors were previously swirling when the star tweeted: “U would NEVER guess what I’m doing right now!!! Hint Hint #Armani,” but now it’s official: she will star in the campaign for both lines starting this fall.
