The Super Sense Spa, designed by architecture and design studio KUU, a 3-level spa in Shanghai completed in late 2007.
An additional floor in steel was added and the staircase leading up lands at several platforms which are for the spa’s complementary purposes such as consultation, beauty treatment, manicure or pedicure.
I am amazed at the way the designer play with the form and function of the wall that creates lighting, niches and even form spaces. Absolutely uplifting and delightful !

The Osler House, designed by Marcio Kogan, is located in Brasilia, Brazil.
The plan of the Osler house is structured by a ground floor volume, a suspended volume and a deck with an outdoor pool.
On the ground floor we find the rooms that open to the outside using rotating wooden panels, and a small lobby that connects the second floor with a delicate staircase.

Due to ever increasing crowds, SERERO architects have submitted a proposal to extend the third floor of the world famous tower.
Since its creation the amount of visitors coming to reach the top of the tower has increased to reach its limit capacity, 6.5 million.
The floor area of each level decreases with the height because of the tower geometry resulting in very long waiting lines and crowd management problems.
In celebration of the 120th birthday of the tower, the Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel decided to restructure the public reception and access areas of the tower.

Heerim Architects has attempted to reinvent the skyscraper beyond the traditional with two lunar inspired projects in the central Asian republic of Azerbaijan.
The Korean firm has dreamed up Full Moon Bay and Caspian Plus that includes Crescent Place on neighbouring peninsulas in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku that look on to the Caspian Sea – the two projects on opposite extremes of the same bay acting as gateway markers.
Hotel Full Moon is essentially a disc with rounded edges and a hole in one of the top corners that appears radically different to the view depending on the angle it is seen from.

Below are 9 strange and unique structures which have either been approved or are in the final stages of approval. some have already been partially constructed.
