‘s latest pre-fall collection campaign emits an intense, minimalistic vibe. The images were shot in the New York studios of American fashion photographer Steven Meisel.

The intense portraits aim to “play with the asymmetries and ambiguities men and women share with each other,” according to the brand.

Models starring in the print campaign include Maartje Verhoef, Niels Trispel, Willow Hand, Artur Chruszcz, Aya Jones, Johannes Spaas, Natalie Westling, Finnlay Davis, Julia Nobis and Tim Schuhmacher.

Each photograph features a male/female couple, alternately aloof, or intimately entwined, with the neutral gray backdrop drawing the audience’s focus to their eyes.

Prada posted that the attitudes on display are “elegance, poise and dare.”

, from the fashion house of the same name, will be the face of the next Givenchy campaign.

Some might find it strange that such an iconic designer would lend herself to a “competing” brand. Yet the two luxury brands make it a habit of surprising the public with their celebrity muses, and Tisci and Versace, both Italian, are longtime friends, a detail they didn’t hesitate to confirm on social networks once the announcement was made.

Riccardo Tisci posted a black and white photo of himself with the Italian designer on his Instagram account, accompanied by the caption, “So proud and honored to introduce my new ultimate icon: Donatella Versace…,” adding, “FW15 Givenchy Family Campaign MORE TO COME SOON!”

The hashtag “mertandmarcus” accompanied the post, hinting that the famous photographer duo could be responsible for shooting the campaign.

As for Donatella Versace, she wasted no time in commenting on Givenchy’s Twitter page: “For my talented friend Riccardo. Together we break fashion boundaries today!”

Gucci presented the first images of its Pre-Fall 2015 advertising campaign, thus marking the official debut of Alessandro Michele.

The former accessories designer took over from Frida Giannini as creative director of the brand in January.

Though already creative director of Gucci during February’s runway shows, Alessandro Michele had yet to truly present his own vision for the Italian brand. With this Pre-Fall 2015 ad campaign he’s accomplished just that.

The first images indicate a significant shift in the brand’s direction, with an increase in simplicity and restratin, both in the designs and the models themselves.

Alessandro Michele particularly made a statement with the choice of photographer, an important and decisive change for the brand.

Lately, the previous campaigns, under the direction of Frida Giannini, had been produced by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, responsible for several glamorous and sexy fashion campaigns (Versace with Lady Gaga, or the sensual Dolce & Gabbana beauty campaign with Vittoria Ceretti).

This time, the new creative director called on British fashion photographer Glen Luchford, a longtime Prada collaborator who has also produced campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent, Elie Saab and Chloé, all the while dabbling in other art forms, such as cinema and painting.

The result is a more intimate and sober atmosphere in which we find Swedish top model Julia Hafstrom gazing at the muscled bare chest of Jack Chambers, whose face we don’t actually see. It’s all in the power of suggestion, an approach which indicates a new focus for the brand.

Kruger will be helping the company to celebrate its tricentenaire via a host of high-profile campaigns and promotions, the most important of which, the Martell France 300 aims to identify 300 individuals whose work in gastronomy, art, fashion and entertainment epitomize the contemporary interpretation of the French Art de Vivre.

Audi ad features ‘Avengers’ and ‘Ant-Man’ footage

‘s commercial partnership with Marvel Studios surfaces a clip containing a decent chunk of preview material.

Action scenes from “Avengers: Age of Ultron” are intercut with images of the 2015 Audi TTS and keywords designed to shape its commercial identity.

Some of the footage has been seen in previous “Avengers” trailers, but a good deal is new. The same goes for an “Ant-Man” teaser appended to the ad.

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” launches May 1, with “Ant-Man” to follow from July 17.

Supermodel Alice Dellal, American actress Kristen Stewart and French actress Vanessa Paradis have returned to inspire Karl Lagerfeld’s latest campaign for the luxury brand’s handbags.

“Three women, three handbags” is how Chanel presents its latest campaign. In the first visuals revealed, the famous brand ambassadors pose separately, each with one of the label’s bags.

Among Chanel’s signature spokesmodels, French actress Vanessa Paradis first posed for the label in 1991 as the face of the Coco fragrance.

Nearly a quarter of a century later, the partnership is still going strong.

For Karl Lagerfeld, Vanessa Paradis poses naked, wearing only a pearl necklace and the new Girl Chanel handbag in lambskin leather with a leather braid.

2) Alice Dellal for the Boy

The British supermodel has always been the face of the Boy bag, which is particularly suited to her androgynous style.

In this latest campaign, she stays true to this style, wearing only a loose-fitting leather shirt and a denim patchwork version of the Boy handbag.

Finally, Kristen Stewart is the face of one of the French label’s enduring classics, the quilted 11.12 handbag.

In the black and white photograph, the young woman wears a silk crepe suit and the famous bag in chevron quilted lambskin.

“For me the iconic handbag is just like the House of Chanel, fundamental and modern, two qualities not usually shared,” said Stewart, who is best known to movie fans as the star of the “Twilight” franchise.

WWD reports that Paolo Roversi photographed Jennifer Lawrence for the Be Dior campaign, which is to roll out in magazines beginning this week.

The actress appears fresh-faced and sophisticated in a series of adverts for the brand, which showcase a range of brightly coloured bags.

In the accompanying video, the actress reveals what she keeps in her handbag: “Wallet, phone, keys — if I can remember them — ChapStick and a little perfume.”

The clip will debut on Thursday at Diormag.com.

Vibrant colors set a dramatic tone in the Spring-Summer 2015 campaign from Sergio Rossi, which stars American model Hilary Rhoda.

In the first shot unveiled by the shoe brand, the sultry brunette poses at the foot of a red armchair, which is draped with a red-orange sheet that matches the 27-year-old model’s stiletto heels perfectly.

This Spring-Summer 2015 campaign, which combines a grey backdrop with pops of saturated color, is shot by Camilla Akrans. The stills will appear in a selection of international fashion magazines this March.

Hilary Rhoda, who was previously seen in Sergio Rossi’s Fall-Winter 2014 campaign, has also been the face of Estée Lauder and more recently of Blackglama.

Bar Refaeli has joined the ranks of ‘s celebrity-studded clique of brand ambassadors including Usain Bolt, Dwyane Wade and Pelé.

Speaking on Thursday night at the launch party, Refaeli said, “I’m excited to be the first female face for the Hublot brand. I’ve been a huge fan for many years and am so proud to be a part of the family now.”

Refaeli will front the Hublot’s ladies’ range, which features the sexy new lace-inspired Big Bang Broderie watch. With a skull lace pattern designed by Bischoff, on a dial studded with 11 diamonds and soft arabesques on the bezel and strap, the timepiece reflects a rebellious spirit coupled with the ancestral art of embroidery that is 100% Swiss made.

Fellow brand ambassador Dwyane Wade, who is in town for the 2015 NBA All Star Weekend, also attended the exclusive media event.

During the evening, Bar strutted the catwalk in a couture gown, made by Hublot partner Bischoff, the leading Maison Suisse lace house, in a nod to the launch of Hublot’s newest women’s timepiece collection — the Big Bang Broderie — done in collaboration with the storied firm.

This year, the watch maker plans to focus on its female customers by offering ladies a series of new watch models that will embody the notion of the “Art of Fusion,” where innovation meets luxury and fashion.

Hublot’s new store at 743 Fifth Avenue in New York where Thursday night’s launch party was held will open to the public later this year.

According to the brand, the supermodel embodies the new Mugler woman, who is “strong, feminine and elegant.”


The campaign spotlights the first collection by designer David Koma, who took over as creative director at the brand in December 2013, replacing Nicola Formichetti.

Some of the signature pieces seen include fitted dresses and structured suits, all accented with metallic bands and cut-outs for a sexy effect!

Revealed through the Elite Model Look contest, Le Tutour is in high demand among leading couture and ready-to-wear brands.

Jaguar has uploaded the first in a series of four short films documenting Idris Elba’s drive from London to Berlin at the wheel of the new XE.

For his journey of around 750 miles or 1200 km, the marque’s latest ambassador drives a Jaguar XE packing a 2.0L engine with 160hp.

With CO2 emissions of just 99g/km, the model is the most fuel-efficient ever produced by Jaguar.

In the first video from this European road trip, Elba pays a visit to the National Youth Music Theatre in London, where he got his start as an actor, before hitting the road in the sleek black sports sedan.

Unveiled last summer at London’s Earl’s Court, the new Jaguar XE will be available in Europe later this year at a starting price of €37,000.

The model is not expected to launch in the US until 2016.

The new XE stands out for its bonded and riveted aluminum construction, which makes it extremely light and strong.

It is also the first Jaguar to come with electric power steering system, a feature that contributes to the car’s enhanced energy efficiency.

One shot even shows her entirely transformed, wearing a look that calls to mind Olivia Newton-John’s from the end of “Grease,” only updated and more sophisticated.

Fairly unknown within the fashion and beauty world, Sarah Gadon has nonetheless fronted a campaign for Jaeger LeCoultre, in which she showed off the brand’s Rendez-Vous watch line.

Very popular in her native Romania, Andreea Diaconu is increasingly well-known abroad, having posed in campaigns for prestigious brands including Tiffany & Co., De Beers and Chloé. She has also walked the runways of Balmain, Nina Ricci, Mugler and Isabel Marant.

In her third tie-up with Longchamp, Alexa Chung posed for photographer Max Vadukul on the rooftop terrace of the Cité Radieuse in Marseille.

The 31-year-old model shares the spotlight with another fashion icon: the Longchamp Le Pliage Héritage bag, which is offered this season in a miniature version in electric blue or coral.

Directed by Jean-François Julian, the film emphasizes the dynamic energy of the brand ambassador and the modern feel of the new collection.

The renowned couturier once again chose his personal assistant/bodyguard as the face of the new  menswear collection.

When it comes to choosing spokesmodels, Karl Lagerfeld favors lasting relationships over impulses or passing fads.

There is no questioning his loyalty to Baptiste Giabiconi, whom he regularly enlists for his runway shows and campaigns, and now also to Sébastien Jondeau, who has returned for his third season as the face of the latest Karl Lagerfeld menswear collection.

A personal assistant and bodyguard to the couturier, Jondeau poses in the Spring-Summer 2015 menswear campaign, which is of course photographed by Lagerfeld himself.

Beyond his role as an ambassador for Lagerfeld’s eponymous label, Jondeau has posed for Fendi and walked the runway for Chanel, two brands under the designer’s creative direction.

James Gray directs the latest Chanel Bleu campaign

Five years after the first campaign, Gaspard Ulliel is still the face of Chanel Bleu in a campaign film directed by James Gray.

In a follow-up to the advertising film helmed by Martin Scorsese in 2010 (watch the video below), Gray directed French actor Gaspard Ulliel, who is now more mature and looks more elegant than ever.

The new video, like the stills from the corresponding outdoor and magazine campaigns, features the mysterious and charismatic Gaspard Ulliel.

The French actor portrays a movie star who, shifting between fantasy and reality, flees a world in which he is hounded by his fans. In his search for some form of serenity, he ultimately comes face to face with himself.

“I wanted to raise the issue of this craziness inherent to the film world, within which we lead both a comfortable and an uncomfortable life,” Gray explains. “In a sense, that is almost a kind of vertigo that comes with the ridiculous and the overflow of attention.”

“There may be a parallel between Mademoiselle Chanel’s somewhat rebellious personality and the ‘Bleu’ character. This extreme freedom, this strength and this determination,” Gaspard Ulliel said.
