In 2017, there were two essential Patek Philippe auctions – One for Only Watch 2017 held in October, where the star of the charity fundraiser was a Patek Philippe Ref. 5208T-010 aka Triple Complication Chronograph with perpetual calendar and minute repeater hammering for US$6.2 million. The kicker was that the Patek Triple Complication was built in titanium, a material that has never been used before on this reference and used even rare still by Patek Philippe. For 2018, Patek Philippe is set to help another good cause. Creating the first and only titanium version of the Ref. 5524 Calatrava Pilot Travel Time for Children Action charity auction.
