The French police have made arrests
in connection with last year’s multimillion-dollar robbery at Harry Winston jewelers and recovered some of the stolen rings, necklaces and watches.

The robbers, some dressed as women and wearing wigs, had grabbed $118 million worth of loot Dec. 5 at the store on Avenue Montaigne in Paris.

It was one of France’s largest jewelry thefts.

According to the AP, the suspects arrested on Monday range in age from 22 to 67 and include some women.

The French Brigade de repression du banditisme arrested 25 suspects ranging in age between 22 and 67 years of age including two women.

The suspects are said to have been associated with the French luxury milieu and benefited from insider connections to carry out the brazen robbery.
