Michael Kors, Kate Hudson Watch Hunger Stop

Michael Kors and Kate Hudson collaborate once again on a series of activity trackers and watches for the Watch Hunger Stop campaign this year.

With the help of Kate Hudson, Michael Kors wants to Watch Hunger Stop, a campaign that aims to achieve a world with zero hunger. This season, the prolific Hollywood actress, entrepreneur and humanitarian lends her face for the meaningful campaign, which features sleek activity trackers and special edition watches that would go towards raising funds for United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).

In line with the new Michael Kors Access line of wearable technology, activity trackers have been chosen to raise funds for Watch Hunger Stop. The tracker doesn’t only look pretty with its mother-of-pearl face and embossed leather band – the nifty device also helps you set fitness goals, track your steps, distance and calories burnt, as well as monitor sleep activity. Purchasing a fitness tracker would mean the world to 100 hungry children, because 100 meals will be donated to WFP to support school meals for each of them sold.

As with every of Kors’ Watch Hunger Stop campaign, special edition watches have also been released this year. Besides a detailed world map on its face, the watches also see the message “1 Watch = 100 Meals” engraved at the back of the watch. This sets in stone, so to speak, that your purchase has gone a long way in helping starving or malnourished children in developing countries.

They’re sold exclusively in select Michael Kors stores worldwide and online.
