Elie Saab is working with the London College of Fashion and the Beirut and Byblos-based Lebanese American University on a new fashion course.

The ‘Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design in collaboration with Elie Saab’ will be taught at the Lebanese American University as part of a partnership with The London College of Fashion, and Saab will be taking on a role as Honorary Chairman of the program:

“The vision behind LAU’s fashion design program was to offer the region’s students an education of the highest possible international standards without having to travel too far from home. I am pleased with the agreement, which is a major step toward creating a regional hub for talented designers,” said Saab.

Earlier this year Vogue Magazine publisher Condé Nast announced the launch of its own fashion school based in London, the Condé Nast College of Fashion and Design.
